About the Journal
INPC, magazine of the Cultural Heritage of Ecuador, is a specialized publication of the National Institute of Cultural Heritage (INPC) dedicated to disseminating research and analysis on cultural heritage at national and international level, in order to promote knowledge, debate and reflection on the subject.
Since its creation in 2009 until 2014, six issues were published in physical and digital support (PDF). The publications include articles by national and foreign authors on research and reflections on cultural heritage. The subsequent editions constitute a relaunch of the journal in electronic format through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform.
The journal is aimed at researchers, academics and students in the fields of social sciences, humanities, architecture, as well as those interested in the study of cultural heritage and social memory.
INPC provides free access to its digital content for reading and downloading, with the purpose of democratizing knowledge and the dissemination of research. Access and use of the material is permitted as long as the authors are acknowledged, it is not used commercially and it is shared with similar criteria. It works under Creative Commons Reconocimiento-Nocomercial-CompartirIgual (by-nc-sa) license.
