PRESENTATION
The National Institute of Cultural Heritage (INPC) is committed to disseminating specialized information on Ecuador's cultural heritage to the public. It has now taken up the challenge of reactivating its publications and, through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, presents three journals to promote national heritage:
- STRATA is a scientific publication, dedicated to disseminating research on archaeology, paleontology and underwater cultural heritage.
- INPC, Revista del Patrimonio Cultural del Ecuador, specializes in research and analysis on cultural heritage in order to promote knowledge and reflection on the subject.
- The journal PCI, Patrimonio Cultural Inmaterial, seeks to disseminate research, registration and safeguarding of Ecuador's intangible heritage.
We are advancing in the process to achieve the indexing of the first two publications, which aim to strengthen the scientific debate about our heritage.
Although each semester we promote a thematic dossier, the journals receive contributions on a permanent basis as they are continuous publications. We accept research articles, book reviews and information relevant to their respective areas.
The journals adhere to international standards for scientific editions and provide free access to their digital content with the purpose of democratizing knowledge and disseminating research.
